      Hi,

I just set Up Google Tag Manager and checked if it Work’s correct. Now i found that there is another Google Analytics Tracking Script hidden in the Template, with following Property: UA-78533155-1 and a Remarketing Tag from Doubleclick with ID 1008974072

Where do these Codes come from and how can i get rid of them?

      Hi Althaue,

I should probably provide you some information about these codes:

To show ads to people who have visited your desktop or mobile website, add the remarketing tag to your website. The tag is a short snippet of code that adds your website visitors to remarketing lists; you can then target these lists with your ads. If your website has a Google Analytics tag, you can use this tag instead and skip adding the AdWords remarketing tag.

Tracking Code Quickstart. The Analytics snippet is a small piece of JavaScript code that you paste into your pages. It activates Google Analytics tracking by inserting ga.js into the page. To use this on your pages, copy the code snippet below, replacing UA-XXXXX-X with your web property ID.

This plugin actually assists you on SEO google. If you don’t want to use this plugin, just deactivate it.

      Thank you!

Sorry, this is not the answer to my question. Your Aqua Theme seems to contain foreign tracking Codes i don’t want on my page! But i don’t see how and where i can remove them in your theme. Are they hardcoded in your Template?

      Althaue,

The answer is YES. I completely forgot about this during my design, so thank you for reminding me.

The attached image show the Google Analytics Tracking code is found in the Header.php and the DoubleClick ID is found in all versions of the Footer.php.

You can code edit the pages and remove them manually.
