Hello!

We are catching some issues with the responsive design of our theme.
We would like to know how to fix the following issues:

Mobile Display Problems:
1. The logo is too big on the mobile – we would like to reduce the size.
(As seen in the photo)

2. Make menu icon in center.

3. Blog photo not completely showing for all single preview of the blogs… Blog title is cut off on the second line.

4. There is too much space between product photos and product description in the single product view. How can we reduce this?

5. On the home page, the featured items section, is it possible to have 2 columns of smaller product photos side by side instead of big ones? (photo sample attached)

6. Product photos of bags are cut. How can we fix this?

7. In the menu, there are grey boxes around the drop down. This grey box is not full width and there is a white space between the menu area on the right side and the box. we would like it to be full width like the left side of the menu.

8. How can we change the colour of the hover, example, now it is grey with black font. We would like to make it red, with white font when hovering and selected.

Behavioural Problems with Mobile:
1. When we add an item into cart from quickview and press add to cart, and go to the cart, the item is not there.
2. When we want to delete something from the cart view, there is no option to delete.

General updates:
Can we update our wordpress? we are scared because last time we have code problems.
Can we update our plugins and wordpress website?

Speed and performance:
The website on google pagespeed review is 48%, please take a look:

Problem 1:
I am writing to you because we have still not solved the issue regarding stretched photos using the info box content on our home page and Discover page. If you check the issue using iphone, and small laptops we have disproportionate resizing.
We would like to respect ration aspect, and have no stretching.

What is your suggested size we use for 1:1 ratio images?

Problem 2:
We still can not figure out how to edit the social media icons on the navigation bar. Could you please let us know how to do this? We checked in the widget’s area and can not find this. We would like to link our facebook, instagram and youtube pages.

Problem 3:
We would like our localmotif (blog) section to display only the photos and titles, and not the text and lines underneath. Could you please let us know how to do this. We went into theme options, post section, and closed the text preview but it does not seem to communicate. Attached is a photo of what we would like to remove.

We have a couple more questions:
1. Some of the images on the home page are squished. *attached in the photo.
How do we fix this?

2. Is it possible to move the menu icon on mobile to the center?

3. On the mobile view, the category boxes, some have spaces, and some do not. Can we have a small white space to separate them? (photo attached)

Hello,

We would like to use the left side menu for our website.

We are having difficulty seeing the logo on our homepage. The rev slider is also full width, we would like it to show like you have in the demo.

In our shop section, we can see the logo but the logo is too much to the left, we would like it to be center of the side navigation bar.

We would also like the menu items not to overlap the logo, perhaps push down the menu items.

We would also like the social media icons to show on the sidebar bottom like you have in your demo.

We would also like to know why our top section of LOG IN OR REGISTER / MY ACCOUNT / CHECKOUT does not show. Can we make it the same way as the default?

We have a quick question regarding our blog post page.

On our website it is under journal.
We would like the page to display like this page:

Blog 2 Columns

But we can not configure the blog grid!
We have attached a screenshot of our modifications but its not affecting anything.
Could you kindly let us know how to do this.

We would also like to add collections ex. 1. Indonesian, 2. Nepal and let users also view the shop per collection without losing our product categories.
Do you know if this is possible or how we can do this? Shall we use tags? or make a new category?

Hope all is well, Sorry to be a pain!

First of all thank you for corrections 3 and 4.2. IT IS PERFECT!!

2. Regarding the video slider, we are trying but none of it is looping and showing the start, stop and reply. When we add the html5 video version, video stops halfway and does not play all the way on mobile, and does not have the auto loop or restart button…

The vimeo way does not auto loop as well, nor cover full width, so we dont like this version.

Please tell us what we are doing wrong? We would like the video fullwidth as it is currently, with the option of play, stop, restart and automatic looping.

2. Yes you are right the video seems to be working now. Another question regarding the video would be the possibility of it being either on loop or to have the play and stop button. How do we do that?

1. The video in the Rev Slider on mobile and ipad does not play. We have edited the settings as you have instructed but still the video does not play on mobile and ipad.

Regarding the comparing: Is there a way to fix the overlapping of the x and the item name in the sidebar when comparing? (Screen shot attached)

Another question since we do not have the option for gift wrap,
how/where from can we change the order not text?
In the order note can we edit the text “Please let us know if you would like to request the GIFT WRAP option and/or have any special delivery indications”

We have decided to fix the one last issue whilst live is possible.

11. The category slider is not exactly what we want, as we want the same display with the hover shocking the name and then linking it to that page. Is there any way we can do this by not changing the design?

Or – is there a way to use the single image widget with a hover showing the text. Then i think we can link the image to the category.

We are almost ready. Thank you for correcting everything.

A couple more questions:
1. The Title of the product on each single item product view has disappeared. How can we make it reappear?
2. The arrows on the slider for images in the single product view has also disappeared. How do we make is appear?

3. One item has disappeared from our shop even tho it has stock and price.

4. Is it possible to keep an item on display even tho it is sold out? For 1 week?

7. We just changed our logo but no effect taken. (It is uploaded to our theme options.)

8. On our portfolio page, the cover image looks blurred. Is there anyway to fix this?

We are getting the hang of css. Thank you. We have changed our main font to playfair display. Everything is working good. But i couldnt fix those 8 questions! If you could let us know how to fix, it would be great!

Hello Huynh,

Ah finally! we turned on the SSL certificate! Maybe thats why!!

Finally a last couple of problems and questions, and almost ready to launch!
We are so excited and happy with the theme! Thank you in advanced!

Our problems are:
1. Some of the headers are not displaying properly. Example “JOURNAL” AND “SHOP” – the right part.

2. How can we change the headings on the homepage and other H2-6 titles. We have changed them in theme options, typography, but it does not seem to work. Example:
Shop Item Titles, Portfolio titles, Section Titles, Blog Post titles…
(THIS IS IMPORTANT SO WE CAN HAVE A BIT OF OUR BRANDING ON THE SITE 🙂 )

3. How can we remove in the portfolio section, the right sidebar? We would just like the images, nothing else. (Image attached).

4. How do we had images to the blog post when we select gallery, nothing shows to upload the images.

5. On the homepage we would like the top menu, above the navigation to also show.

6. How do we link the wishlist page to the heart symbol in our menu?

7. It seems our social links have disappeared in the widget. Could you please give us the code to paste again (sorry)

8. Could you also kindly give us the code with the icons to put like in bencher contact us widget. We would like the same 🙂

2. We have a problem like last time where the header keeps reverting to global, and bencher logo is connected. Please have a check in our wordpress. Last time Huynh was really helpful is solving this reset problem. (I have attached a preview of what it always reverts to in the related edit of the page in meta-box…)

3. Could you please be more specific? what do we type? how do we style it?

4. Same when we used the code to resize it, nothing was in effect. What code do you suggest?

5. So we created the 4 columns like in the image but can not find the: Initial Steps > go to Menu Setup > Mega Menu & Menu with Icon > here you can find out how to create a Mega-menu.

6. No luck – we have this style in attached photo and we would like to use the same style you have in your demo.

7. While viewing the website from different computers, all the icons are squares- no icon display or x’s in the mobile. Why is that?

8. What woocommerce app do you suggest so users can pay online by credit card gateways? without making a separate bank transfer, but able to fill out a forum online with their ex. mastercard, visa card info through our checkout?

9. Also our thumbnails on the merchandise in single view are showing up stretched. Any way to fix this? Also any way to leave some more space between where the photo ends and the additional information tabs section?

Thank you for all your support! All previous issues are fixed on the site.

1. I would like to know if there is a way to change the the colour of the active links and hover. In the styling options we have assigned the colour, but the colour has not changed. (Please see image)

2. We would like Header Stlye 6, but when we select it, our headers display as style 5. *Please see image.

3. Is it possible to make our logo a bit bigger?

4. We would like to insert our Logo in png for the footer, but when we do the image is enlarged and full width.

5. How do we create the same mega menu as you have in the demo under elements. We would like to do this in our shop Tab.

6. We accidently deleted the code for the newsletter sign up on the footer. How do we insert it? When we use the widget, the style is different.

Regarding the issue of logging in and the page not redirecting. What can be done? Is this strange? What if other people who create an account try to log in. What will happen? We still do not understand completely why you can not log in, or the page does not redirect. How can we solve this problem?

Mainly – Please give us your email so you can enter our wordpress and reset the password yourself if you have problems.

we are facing these issues:

1. 404 page is not working. we did what you said, no luck. Was working yesterday and now is reverted.
2. under construction page has a black space underneath.
3. Social icons on footer top are not behaving correctly. We inserted the code and now we have the problem on all pages.
4. Shop page sidebar is displaying full width.
5. Magnifying problem. please view attached image.
6. Bencher logo keeps reverting. We insert our logo on the home page 1 but no luck. We did what you said several times and after the page reloads from updating it STILL has bencher image attached!

We apologies for the mess, there was someone else doing the website for us in the past but we decided to take matters into our own hands as the results were bad and decided to use you theme layout as it was really nice.

I believe we are almost set. I think with bluehost one person can be logged onto wordpress at a time so i am creating you a new username and password.

You can also log in from bluehost. But in anycase we are now logging out of wordpress.

Problems are:
1. Shop page does not show. We spoke with bluehost, they said there was no folder created. Please feel free to do what you need in the ftp. Delete, create. As u see fit for this site to work properly with the theme.

2. 404 and Under Construction page have this white bit showing as the image does not fully cover? We would like it to be like the demo when someone enlarges the window, the photo accordingly adjusts. Maybe it is the dimension of the image? Please let us know what size the background image has to be.

3. In Homepage 1: The bencher logo still appears even tho we configured the logo from the page’s bottom. It keeps reverting to bencher logo.

4. Only in the about us page, the social media icons are displayed with an extra icon out of line with the other icons. Image attached.

5. In woocommerce we would like the euro sign to display and the the . to divide the cents. We configured it but still the dollar sign and , is displaying.

6. This part is not a problem but we would like to know if there is a way to preview the email of the invoice, and how we can edit it. It is html code right now – and we can not visualize it.
