Safe to Upgrade to WP4.9.8 and WooCommerce 3.5.1

Hey Team
Wanting to know if I can safely upgrade to the above (WP4.9.8 and WooCommerce 3.5.1). Already getting some errors about deprecated functions from your last theme update > that at the time was said will be fixed.
Dont want to find that more functions are deprecated with the latest release

Also tried your method to update WP Bakery Visual Composer (by deleting and autoupdating plugins) but didn’t work – no prompt that this plugin is required/recommended.
