Post type and layout problems

Hello

I am building a website for a school http://wp.het-kompas.be

Now, I am facing the problem with showing photos on the site… I want to use a simple post and an gallery in this post but I don’t get what I wnat for layout.

for example: http://wp.het-kompas.be/2017/09/06/1a_heemkundigmuseum/
This post is a simple post, standard post type with a gallery in the body of the post, but this gallery won’t show up… When I change the post type to gallery (obvious I think), I get all the photos from the gallery in a slider, which I dont want to…

I want, if it’s possible the layout from the portfolio post type (http://wp.het-kompas.be/portfolio/1aheekundigmuseum/) but in a simple post type…

How can I do this? please help…

You can add wc shortcode to the post here. You can use the gallery shortcode from visur composer with many features
