I am trying to add a football party on our events list for February 5th and one for Valentines Day February 14th and on the front end of the site it shows the publish date of the event which is when i created the event NOT the date of the event. I added a new field to the events in the settings but still nothing. Both events say October 6th and if I change them to the future dates then the event dissapears from my home page. Why can’t I have the box to the left that has the date in it be the date of the actual event? Wouldn’t that make more sense than the date I added the event? Also I had read the other feed about a similar issue but it still does not solve my problem.

***Also one other thing I need to mention, in the settings of the even area on the home page it asks if I would like to show a button and I have it unchecked because I do not want a button for buying tickets but the button shows anyway. How do I get that not to show even though i have it unchecked in the settings?

Please let me know how to fix this. The website is http://www.hatari.vegas

      hello there,

      Thank you for contacting us!

Sorry for this drawback feature. The date in Event is the date of the post published, it’s not related to the future date function at all.

To resolve it, please add a new plugin like this into your theme and it will work properly: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-scheduled-posts/screenshots/

Please try and get back to us to inform the result. If you need any our assistance then contact us again!

      Kind Regards,
      Sophie

I downloaded and uploaded the plugin you suggested but my dates are still wrong for my events and also even though I check mark that I do NOT want a button and I do not fill out what the button context would be there is still a button on each event that still says “buy tickets” and does not even take the end user anywhere. Can you please help me with this? My client has some very large events that are coming up in days and I cannot put his events on the site.

      Thank you,

      Clay

      Hello there,

Sorry for this inconvenience. We will update a better version, at least, so that it could show the future date to arrive.

And here is SOLUTION temporarily: Please try to install a plugin again. We have ever tried and it shows the future date exactly. Please take a look at this NOTE

If the result is the same, please give us your FTP info. We will assist you.

      Kind Regards,
      Sophie

      Thank you
