Hi. I’m implementing the LaForat theme onto an existing website and I have a TON of pages to format. One big issue I’m having is that the header isn’t showing up on pages until I manually select the relevant header information in the Page Options for EACH AND EVERY PAGE. I can’t find any global settings for this which is the NORM for themes. Am I missing where to make this change for all pages? And to be clear, I’m speaking about the PAGES content type rather than the POST content type.
Thanks,

You can go to Theme Options -> Header and choose the layout header.

I tried that first, of course. I didn’t work. As you can see, only the menu shows. The logo and other header information are missing. Do you have any suggestions? I’m extremely frustrated that a theme that should be plug and play is costing me valuable time.

Hi!
Your header is display well http://prntscr.com/gl0h69, like our demo!
http://laforat.jwsuperthemes.com/homepage-03/
and
Please set your page setting – header is “global” http://prntscr.com/gl0hrx then change your global header in your theme options http://prntscr.com/gl0i5c
And finally, your cache plug-in keep your cache, so you have to clear it to take effect

Dai, I appreciate your response but did you look at the screenshots I provided? The problem is not on the homepage, but in the interior pages. Note again that I’m referring to the PAGES and not POSTS content type. I can only achieve the full header if I remove the “Global” setting from each page’s options and select the header for each individual page. I need the Global setting to work.

Yes, I know, but that’s the way it was when I activated the theme. Every old page has that as a setting and there are quite a few. So, there’s no global override for that? I need to edit that setting on each page?
Thanks!

Hi!
Setting for each page override your global setting. Default setting for each page is “header = global” and “display header top = yes”. If you has setting for global in theme option, And you do not want a particular setting for a particular page, you do not need to do anything further!
Thank you! -
